Today was back to the routine of Club Secretary duties. And the priority job of the day was to get the Parklands Open posters in the post. Neil Watson has produced some very professional posters for us this year ... thanks Neil ... hope they catch the eye and we have lots of entries. 60 envelopes to be addressed, letters written and posters enclosed ... and the rest is down to the Royal Mail. On the evening, Brian King and I attended the Annual General Council Meeting of the Northumberland Union of Golf Clubs at the Northumberland Golf Club. There were no major changes proposed and the Seniors County Card costs remained unchanged at £10 and £10 per round.

Congratulation to you and especially Brian I am sure you will both be a credit to the club this year. I would guess though it may be a difficult one considering the current financial situation for many members and the weather we have had for the past eight months.
